Istiklol Secures 2-0 Victory Over FC Goa in AFC Champions League Two
Hisor, Tajikistan – FC Istiklol defeated India’s FC Goa 2-0 in a crucial Group D match of the AFC Champions League Two on October 1, 2025. The contest, held at the Hisor Central Stadium in Tajikistan, saw the home side clinch a vital win, handing FC Goa their second consecutive defeat in the continental tournament.
The loss leaves the Indian Super League side without any points after two games in the group stage. FC Goa, who qualified for the tournament after their Super Cup 2025 triumph, had previously lost their opening home game 0-2 against Iraqi side Al-Zawraa SC.
